BatchGen Terms of Service
Effective date: June 11, 2026
Operated by: Crafted Motion LLC ("BatchGen," "we," "us")

1. What BatchGen is
BatchGen (https://batchgen.io) is a batch image generation workspace. You connect your own Google Gemini API key and BatchGen gives you tools to run batch generations, manage references, save galleries, build storyboards, run guided builds, and export your work.
BatchGen sells workspace access, not image credits. All image generation happens through your own Gemini API key. Google bills you directly for API usage under your own Google account. BatchGen never resells, marks up, or includes generation credits.
2. Accounts
- You must create an account with a valid email address to use BatchGen.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts or resell access.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- BatchGen Launch Access costs $10/month, billed through Stripe as a recurring subscription.
- Crafted Motion Academy members receive access at no additional charge while their Academy entitlement is active. If your Academy entitlement lapses, workspace access requires a paid subscription.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; see the Refund Policy for details on cancellation and refunds.
- If a renewal payment fails, your access continues for a short grace period while you update your payment method, after which access pauses until payment succeeds.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at your next renewal, never mid-cycle.
4. Your Gemini API key
- BatchGen requires you to bring your own Google Gemini API key.
- Your key is used to make generation and validation requests on your behalf. See How BatchGen Handles Your API Key for exactly how it is handled.
- You are responsible for your own Gemini API costs, quota, and compliance with Google's Gemini API Terms of Service.
- BatchGen is not responsible for Google API pricing changes, quota limits, model deprecations, or service outages. Cost figures shown in the app are estimates only, not BatchGen charges.
5. Your content
- You retain all rights you have in the prompts you write, the reference images you upload, and the images you generate, subject to Google's Gemini API terms regarding generated output.
- You grant BatchGen a limited license to store, process, and display your content to you for the purpose of operating the service (e.g., saving your galleries and storyboards).
- Galleries are private by default. BatchGen does not publish, share, or train on your content.
- You are solely responsible for your content, including that your reference uploads don't infringe anyone else's rights.
- Storage is subject to fair-use limits per account; the app tells you if you reach them.
6. Acceptable use
Use of BatchGen is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: no illegal content, no abuse of the platform, no content that harms real people. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
7. Service availability
- BatchGen is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- We may modify, add, or remove features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give paying subscribers at least 30 days' notice and a window to export their work.
8. Termination
- You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected].
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Where practical, we'll warn you first; for severe violations (illegal content, abuse of other users, attacks on the service) we may terminate immediately.
- On termination, your stored galleries and uploads are deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- AI-generated output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing output before using it.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatchGen disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
